Hexo versus WordPress
As a developer, many of the features of Hexo are appealing to me. However, the WordPress ecosystem is strong, and I can’t figure out a good mobile workflow for writing and publishing with Hexo. It seems like I would need a separate (or combined) Git client, markdown editor, and possibly some way to run Node on iOS.
I wonder if anyone has experience setting up this kind of mobile workflow for Hexo. Getting Node running in an iOS app, without using an external server, seems the hardest part of the problem. Perhaps git push heroku is an option? I’m already writing this with Byword, which supports publishing directly to WordPress. I also use Clone, an iOS-based Git client.
